ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Selection Grade Tradesman of the respondent Transport Corporation who attained superannuation on 31.10.2019.

2. According to the writ petitioner, after his retirement, the trade union and the management have entered into a settlement under Section 12(3) of the Industrial Dispute Act on 24.08.2022 conferring the benefits with effect from 01.09.2019. Seeking the said benefits, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondent authorities on 30.01.2023. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the 2nd respondent is directed to confer the eligible benefits upon the writ petitioner within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
