ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Junior Engineer of the respondent Transport Corporation, who attained superannuation on 31.08.2018.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the writ petitioner's Gratuity amount was settled taking into consideration 7% of the basic pay. However, he is entitled to Gratuity at the rate of 9% of the basic pay as per the R.T.I reply dated 26.07.2023. Hence, the petitioner has also sent a representation to the respondents on 17.07.2023 seeking the said benefits.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. 2/4

Considering the above said facts, the second respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner dated 17.07.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law conferring the eligible benefits to the writ petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
