PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS directing the Respondents Nos.1 to 4 to incorporate the petitioner's father's namely Periyasamy instead of Ammaiyappan in patta No.751 and restore the same in connection with the property comprised in survey No.138/1B to an extent of 5 cents situated at Aviyur Village, Kariapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District on the basis of the Petitioner's 1/4
representation dated 17.09.2025 within a time frame to be stipulated by this court.

ORDER
By relying on settlement "A" Register standing in the name of Periyasamy in respect of land in S.No.138/1B, the petitioner had submitted a representation for rectification of the revenue records before respondents 1 to 4. The present writ petition relates thereto.
2.Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 4. On the basis of written instructions, he submits that the District Revenue Officer would pass orders on merits after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the 5th respondent within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.In view of the above submissions of learned Additional Government Pleader, it is unnecessary to issue notice to the 5th respondent in this writ petition. Instead, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second 2/4
respondent to consider the petitioner's representation regarding alleged UDR errors and pass orders thereon on merits within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, 5th respondent and any other persons interested in the relevant property. No costs.
