ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to survey the petitioner's land in Survey No. 993/5, situated at Thevaram Village, Uthamapalayam, Theni District respectively, and fix its boundaries as per the revenue records with the aid of the third respondent Police by considering her online Application No. 2025/0123/25/004893, dated 16.06.2025, within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.

According to the petitioner, she is the owner of the property comprised in Survey No.993/5, situated at Thevaram Village, Uthamapalayam, Theni District, and seeks proper identification and protection of her land. In order to ensure accurate survey, measurement, and fixation of boundaries as reflected in the revenue records, the petitioner submitted an online application bearing No. 2025/0123/25/004893 dated 16.06.2025 to the respondents 1 and 2. Despite the submission of the said application, no effective steps have been initiated by respondents 1 and 2 to conduct the survey or fix the boundaries.
4. The petitioner apprehends interference and obstruction in the surveying process, and therefore, seeks the assistance of the third respondent Police to ensure smooth conduct of the survey. In view of the inaction of the authorities, the petitioner has approached this Court for the relief stated supra.
5. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 and 2 submits that the petitioner's application will be considered on its merits and in accordance with law.

Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 16.06.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The application shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The first respondent is directed to provide reasonable opportunity during such enquiry to the petitioner, the respondents 4 and 5 and also to the other persons, who may be affected by such decision. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to work out their remedies before the Civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs. NCC : Yes / No (K.SURENDER, J.)
