The petitioner herein is the father of the deceased pertaining to Crime No.756 of 2012, registered for the offence punishable under Section 174 Cr.P.C. by the Railway Police, Trichy. This petitioner filed this application under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., seeking the relief to transfer the investigation agency from the second respondent, who being the Inspector of Police, Manapparai Police Station, to the file of the CBCID, Trichy District. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Today, when the case is taken up for hearing, the learned

Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents represented that on 24.10.2013 itself, the said impugned FIR pertaining to this petition was closed as "action dropped". He produced the CD file before this Court and this Court perused the CD file.

3. The submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) is recorded. Hence, the prayer sought for in this petition becomes infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
