PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to include the surviving legal heirs of late Shri G.Gopal as joint Pattadhars in respect of Patta No.617, in substitution of the name of Shri G.Mariappan, based on the petitioner's detailed representations dated 29.12.2021 and 23.08.2025, and to grant consequential reliefs.

ORDER

The petitioner is the son of one G.Gopal. The petitioner traces title to 50% of the property in S.Nos.11/1 and 12/2 by tracing title from Irulappa Konar.

2.Learned counsel for the petitioner relies upon the no objection given by M.Shantaram, M.Sethuram and M.Chandrasekar, who are the legal heirs of Mariappanm, stating that their 50% share had already been transferred. 3.Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for both the respondents. He submits that the Revenue Divisional Officer would pass orders upon receipt of a report from the Tahsildar in this regard. He further submits that such order would be issued within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.In these circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's request for inclusion of names of the legal heirs of G.Gopal in the patta relating to S.Nos.11/1 and 12/2 within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after issuing notice to all the pattadhars and to the petitioner.
