ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The Branch Manager, Kosakulam Pudur Branch, State Bank of India, Near Judicial Academy, Madurai, is suo motu impleaded as the third respondent.

3. The petitioner seeks grant of an educational loan.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner must approach the third respondent which is the concerned branch. The Standing Counsel further states that the petitioner has to open a savings bank account with zero balance. Subject to petitioner fulfilling the other usual formalities, her application for grant of educational loan will be considered expeditiously, by the first respondent.

5. Recording the stand of the learned standing counsel, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 15.12.2023 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No RM Note : Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment in the cause title.
