After submitting a representation dated 14.04.2025 for issuance of a free house site patta, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of both the respondents. By placing on record a Circular dated 04.03.2025 issued by the Additional Chief Secretary to Government, he submits that patta should not be issued if the relevant land is in the hill area. Without prejudice to this submission, he submits that the petitioner's representation would be considered and disposed of on merits.
3. Accordingly, without making any observations on the merits, the second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 14.04.2025 on merits within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner.
