ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner's application for issuance of passport had already been closed on 28.08.2020. The petitioner was shown as one of the accused in C.C No.44 of 2017 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Dindigul. The said proceedings have been quashed vide order dated 14.08.2023 in Crl OP(MD)No.3345 of 2019. The petitioner is directed to submit a fresh application for issuance of passport. Copy of the order dated 14.08.2023 shall also be enclosed. Thereupon, subject to the fulfilment of the other usual formalities, the first respondent shall issue passport to the petitoner.

3.This writ petition is allowed. No costs.
