ORDER

This civil revision petition has been filed by the Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies, who exercised the power under Section 87 of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act, 1983 as a quasi-judicial authority.

2. This Court in C.R.P.(PD) (MD) No.996 of 2021, dated 27.03.2025, held that the quasi-judicial authority is not entitled to file an appeal or revision against an order passed by him or by the appellate authority in an appeal filed against an order passed by such quasi-judicial authority and further issued directions to the Registry of this Court not to entertain and number civil revision petitions filed by such quasi-judicial authorities. In view of the same, this civil revision petition cannot be entertained.

3. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is rejected. However, it is made clear that it is open for any person aggrieved by the order under revision to take appropriate steps against the same independently. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
