Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner wants to sell the petition mentioned lands. The petitioner is encountering difficulties because of the high fixation of the guideline values. According to the petitioner, for his village, the guideline value is only Rs.50/- per sq.ft. It has been wrongly fixed as Rs.550/- per sq.ft. Such issue has to be necessarily gone into by the jurisdictional valuation committee. The petitioner has given a representation on 24.11.2023. The first respondent will forward the same to the jurisdictional valuation committee. The committee which comprises the Revenue Officials also shall conduct enquiry and submit report to the first respondent within three months. Based on the same, the first respondent will issue appropriate direction. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The petitioner shall also be personally heard by the valuation committee before it submits its report to the IG of Registration. 2/4
