ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner herein executed power of attorney dated 04.09.2025 in favour of one Vishwanathan and presented the same for registration. The registering authority noted that some of the properties covered by the power of attorney had already been sold. On that ground, registration was refused.

3.This issue can be raised when the power of attorney presents any deed of conveyance. At this stage, this issue need not be gone into. By executing a power of attorney, there is no transfer of interest, right or title. In this view of the matter, the order impugned is quashed. The petitioner is permitted to re-present the document. It shall be registered and released.
