O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue Non Traceable Certificate based on the petitioners complaint dated 09.05.2023 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a representation dated 09.05.2023 before the respondent for missing of his Document No.1907 of 2001 dated 01.11.2001 registered at the office of the Karunthattankudi Sub Registrar Office, Thanjavur, but no action was taken as on date and hence, he has also sent a representation to the respondents.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 09.05.2023 is pending.

Considering the above, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and complete the same by following the circular issued by the Director General of Police within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Depending upon the outcome of the enquiry, the petitioner shall workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings, if so aggrieved.
