ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The issue on hand is covered by the earlier order dated 05.10.2023 made in WP(MD)No.4129 of 2022. It was observed that on the ground that the premises in question is located within five hundred meeters of Sambai Ootru, the applicant cannot be denied electricity service connection. The same principle will apply in the present case also. The impugned order is quashed. TANGEDCO is directed to provide electricity service connection to the petitioner subject to the fulfilment of the other usual formalities. 3.This writ petition is disposed of.
