ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to register the document pertaining to Survey No. 80/2B2A1 to an extent of 2.02.02 ares, situated in Pushpathur village, Palani taluk, Dindigul district as vacant plot by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.11.2023 within the period stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 20.11.2023 seeking registration of the document pertaining to the subject property as vacant plot. Since the same has not been considered till date, the present writ petition has been filed. 2/5

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submits that for the survey number 80/2B2A1, which was subdivided from S.No.80/2B2, as per the A-Register, it was classified as an industrial unit from the year 2012 onwards and in the year 2012, for the industrial unit, it was fixed at Rs.80/- per one square foot and now, it is fixed at Rs.81/- per one square foot for the industrial unit. He further submits that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of in accordance with law by the respondents within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the above said submission, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the petitioner to approach the respondents to get the guideline value of the subject property and pay the same to enable the respondents to register the document, which was submitted by the petitioner. The respondents are also directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.11.2023, which was submitted for registration of the document and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
