Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner is a contractor. He had carried out certain works. He wants back the security deposit amount which was already deposited by him.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing counsel submitted that there are audit objections and that after the same is cleared, the petitioner's request can be considered.

4. This issue cannot be kept pending. The respondent is directed to complete the entire exercise and pass final order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
