PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to conduct survey and fix four boundaries of the petitioner's punja lands in Survey Nos.33/6C2 and 33/6F, in patta Nos.859 and 549 respectively situated at Melavanniruppu Revenue village, Singampuneri Taluk, Sivagangai District based on the petitioner's application dated 21.05.2025 and the petitioner's representation dated 18.09.2025.

ORDER

By relying on patta Nos.859 and 546 relating to land in S.No.33/6C2 and 33/6F, respectively, the petitioner had applied online for the conduct of a survey. The present writ petition relates thereto.

2.Learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of both the respondents. He submits that action would be initiated on the petitioner's application and the survey would be completed within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.The petitioner has placed on record patta standing in her name. On instructions, learned counsel confirms that there is no rival title claim. In these circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to initiate action on the petitioner's request for survey and complete the entire process within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after issuing notice to owners of relevant adjacent lands, if any.
