ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner seeks issuance of patta for the petition mentioned survey number (S.No.256/2).

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader has produced the copy of the 'A register' extract. It is seen therefrom that Survey No.256/2 has been classified as "nghpa ,Yg;gf; Fsk;"

4. I am therefore not in a position to grant relief sought for. It is well settled that patta cannot be issued in respect of a water body. If any other person has been granted patta in the said survey number, steps shall be taken to have the same cancelled. The Writ Petition is dismissed.
