The above writ petition has been filed for the following relief:- "Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to correct the Petitioner's father name as R.Sekar instead of S.Sekar in the 10th Standard Secondary School Mark statement of the Petitioner by considering the Petitioners representation dated 20.08.2025."

2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 has submitted a communication which the petitioner has received, wherein it has been stated as follows:- "Sir/Madam With reference to your letter dated 03/06/2024 for correction in FATHER'S NAME in the certificate of PRADHIBA S bearing Roll Number 20217422 of SSE 2023, you are directed to comply with the following points:

1. The requisite fee for correction is Rs.1580/-(Rs.1000/-, per certificate Rs.250/-, postal charge Rs.80/-) may be remitted through NEFT TRANSFER in the Beneficiary NAME: The Secretary CBSE, Bank Name - CANARA BANK, Account Number - 0974101019482, IFSC Code-CNRB0000974.

2. You should surrender all the original certificate(s) issued by the Board for correction. (Mark Sheet Cum Certificate & Migration Certificate)"

Your compliance on the above mentioned items should be submitted to this office for further process." 3/6

In the light of the above, the petitioner is directed to pay the requisite fees to the 4th respondent within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, submit all the original certificates for correction. Upon receipt of the same, 4th respondent is directed to forward the same to the 1st respondent through NEFT Transfer.

4. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
