This petition has been filed to call for the records in M.C.No.3 of 2012, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pudukkottai and quash the same.

2. The petitioners herein are the accused Nos. 2 to 5 in M.C.No.3 of 2012, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pudukkottai. He filed this application to quash the entire above said proceedings as illegal.

3.On 07.02.2018, in order to know the status of the case pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pudukkottai, this Court directed the registry to call for the report from the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pudukkottai as to whether M.C.No.3 of2012 is still pending or disposed off. Today, on perusal of the report of the learned Magistrate, it seems that the said case was disposed on 16.12.2014 itself. 4. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as

infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
