ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Selection Grade Driver, who is working in the respondent Transport Corporation seeking a Mandamus as against the Transport Corporation for releasing a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- as part withdrawal from the petitioner's Provident Fund Account.

2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the petitioner has given a representation for part withdrawal of PF amount to a tune of about Rs.10,00,000/- to meet out his daughter's marriage expenses and the marriage is fixed on 27.12.2023. The representation of the petitioner to the respondent herein is dated 29.11.2023. Since the said request is yet to be considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the respondent herein is directed to pass orders permitting the petitioner to withdraw the eligible PF amount as part withdrawal within a period of one (1) week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
