To call for the records and set aside the judgment dt.17.08.2023 made in Crl A No.98/2021 on the file of the learned Vth Additional District Judge Madurai confirming the judgment and conviction dt.25.08.2021 made in STC No.649/2018 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam, acquit the petitioner and allow the Criminal Revision Petition.

Order : This Criminal Miscellaneous petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/s.R.JENIFAR BIBIN, Advocate for the petitioner, while admitting the criminal revision case, the Court made the following order:- 1/3

This petition has been filed to extend the time to deposit 20% of the cheque amount as directed by this Court in Crl.M.P(MD).No.15045 of 2023 in Crl.R.C(MD).No.1180 of 2023 dated 20.10.2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

3. Considering the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition is allowed and the time granted to deposit 20% of the cheque amount is extended by four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
