PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS directing the respondents No.1 to 3 to direct the 4th respondent to complete the ongoing reconstruction of 150 years old dilapidated Pallivasal namely Malickdhinar Baithulmal existed at Pon Arippu Street, Kottar Post, Kanyakumari District on or before the Festival of Ramadan, 2026 by considering the petitioners representation dated 02.09.2025, within the period stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the respondents No.1 to 3 to direct the 4th respondent to complete the ongoing reconstruction of 150 years old dilapidated Pallivasal namely Malickdhinar Baithulmal existed at Pon Arippu Street, Kottar Post, Kanyakumari District on or before the Festival of Ramadan, 2026 by considering the petitioners representation dated 02.09.2025, within the period stipulated by this Court.

2. When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the 4th respondent would submit that already they have 2/4

demolished the Mosque and after demolition, they would construct a new Mosque. The said submission is recorded.

3. Recording the said submission, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
