ORDER

Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is filed to withdraw the H.M.O.P.No.418 of 2023 on the file of the Family Court, Karur to the Family Court, Coimbatore and try along with the H.M.O.P.No.1548 of 2023 on the Family Court, Coimbatore.

2. The facts in brief is that the petitioner is the wife and the respondent is her husband. Their marriage was solemnized on 14.02.2022 at Coimbatore. At the time of marriage, the respondent was working at Bangalore as a Senior Software Engineer and demanded Rs.2,00,000/- cash and 30 sovereigns of gold jewels as dowry. They started their matrimonial life at Karur. Again, the parents of the respondent have demanded additional dowry and harassed her. The petitioner and the respondent were separated. The respondent herein filed H.M.O.P.No.418 of 2023 before the Family Court, Karur, for restitution of conjugal rights. The petitioner filed H.M.O.P.No.1548 of 2023 before the Family Court, Coimbatore.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that now the petitioner is residing in her parents house at Coimbatore. She has to travel nearly 150 kms from Coimbatore to attend the Court proceedings at Karur. She finds it difficult to travel from Coimbatore to Karur every hearing. She wants transfer of the proceedings in H.M.O.P.No.418 of 2023 from the file of the Family Court, Karur, to the file of the Family Court, Coimbatore, for joint trial along with the H.M.O.P.No.1548 of 2023 pending on the file of the Family Court, Coimbatore.

4. Learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the respondent has no objection to transfer the H.M.O.P.No.418 of 2023 filed by him before the Family Court, Karur.

5. In view of the above submission, H.M.O.P.No.418 of 2023, pending on the file of the Family Court, Karur, is transferred to the file of the Family Court, Coimbatore, to be tried along with the H.M.O.P.No. 1548 of 2023 filed by the petitioner herein.

6. With this direction, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
