ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a concern who are covered by the Employees Provident Fund Act seeking a Mandamus to pay the determined contribution amount in 35 equated monthly installments.

The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the period covered in the writ petition is the Covid-19 period and based upon the Scheme introduced by the Government, namely, Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojana (ABRY Scheme), wherein they have been directed to pay a sum of Rs.35,06,147/-.

3. Considering the above said facts, the petitioner Mill is permitted to pay the said amount in 12 equated monthly installments starting from 10.01.2024. All the other installments shall be paid on or before 10th of every month. In case, if there is any default in any one of the installments, the respondent authorities are at liberty to proceed further in accordance with law. 2/4

4. With the above said observation, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed.
