The petitioner herein is the first accused in Crime No.473 of 2010 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Karur Town Police Station. The petitioner filed this application to quash the above said F.I.R as illegal.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for State submitted that on 05.05.2017 itself the said F.I.R was closed by the concerned Judicial Magistrate under Section 468 of Cr.P.C. 3.Recording the above said submission, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
