This Petition has been filed seeking orders to condone the delay of 88 days in filing the criminal appeal against the judgment, dated 12.08.2024 in C.C.No.43 of 2013, on the file of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ramanathapuram.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State and also perused the records.

3.Considering the quantum of delay and the reasons assigned, the delay of 88 days in filing the Criminal Appeal, is condoned and accordingly, this petition is allowed. Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and list the matter in the usual course.
