After purchasing a property under a sale deed dated 16.08.2002, the petitioner applied for subdivision. The present Writ Petition relates thereto.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of both the respondents. He submits that the second respondent would consider and dispose of the petitioner's request on merits within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

750. The said patta stands in the names of the petitioner and one Mani Mudaliar. It relates to land in survey No.309/2 of an extent of 46.50 ares. Therefore, it is necessary to issue notice to the joint pattadar before a decision is taken.

4. Subject to the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the 2/4
