O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to sanction compensation for the death of the petitioner's son 1/4

and damage of his house on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 26.06.2023.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a representation before the respondent on 26.06.2023, seeking to provide compensation for the death of his son and for the damage of his house. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 26.06.2023 would be considered in accordance with law.

4. In view of the above, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 26.06.2023, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
