Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents. 2/5

2. Admittedly, the petitioner is an encroacher and he has been directed to hand over possession. All that the petitioner seeks is 60 days time from today to hand over possession. This is because the petitioner has grown bananas in the petition mentioned lands. We find that the said request is reasonable. Subject to filing undertaking affidavit before the third respondent, the petitioner is given time till the end of the 31st January 2024, to hand over the possession of the petition mentioned lands.

3. The Writ Petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
