O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to subdivide the property and issue separate patta in favour of the petitioner with regard to the property in Survey No. 131/9, situated at No. 25, Arumbanur Bit 2 Village, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District, based on the petitioners' representation dated 23.06.2025.

2. The petitioners seek the indulgence of this Court to direct respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation dated 23.06.2025 and thereafter subdivide the property and issue separate patta in favour of the petitioner.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for respondents 1 and 2, submits that the petitioners' representation would be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 23.06.2025 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Such representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an inquiry, including issuing notice to the owners of adjoining lands and considering any objections from them. The second respondent is directed to provide a reasonable opportunity at such inquiry to the petitioners, the third respondent and any others who would be affected by such decision.
