ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to call for the records of the impugned FIR in Crime No.36 of 2020 on the file of the 1st respondent, dated 08.06.2020 and quash the same as illegal in regard to the petitioners are concerned.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that investigation in this case has already been completed and the final report filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai on 28.04.2023, but, it has not been taken on file so far.

3. Since the final report has been filed, there shall be a direction to the Magistrate concerned to process the same within the time stipulated as per rules. If the petitioners are aggrieved with the contents of the final report, they can work out the remedy through 2/4

appropriate proceedings.

4. With the above direction this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
