ORDER

This petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner, wherein, the petitioner has sought for the removal of his name from the history sheet.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. The name of the petitioner has been maintained before the fourth respondent in H.S.No.12 of 2023. The petitioner made a representation for the removal of his name from the history sheet. Since the same was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of relief sought for by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the fourth 2/5

respondent to remove his name from the history sheet maintained in H.S.No.12 of 2023. The same shall be dealt with by the fourth respondent in line with the guidelines given by this Court in Sabari @ Sabarigiri Vs. The Assistant Commissioner of Police, Madurai & Ors., reported in 2018 4 MLJ (Crl.) 585 and a decision shall be taken within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt a representation from the petitioner.

5. This Writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
