ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the proceedings in M.C.No.39 of 2012 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.5, Tirunelveli and quash the same.

2.Though the learned counsel for the petitioners raised several grounds for quashing the charge sheet, he submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the trial Court to complete the trial within a time limit that may be stipulated by this Court and also the presence of the petitioners before the trial Court may be dispensed with throughout the trial, since they are the in-laws of the defacto complainant.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

4.In the light of the above said submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the learned Judicial Magistrate No.5, Tirunelveli, to complete the trial in M.C.No.39 of 2012, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and also directs the learned learned Judicial Magistrate No.5, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Tirunelveli, to dispense with the personal appearance of the petitioners and the petitioners shall appear before the concerned Court when their presence is required.

5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
