O R D E R

The petitioner herein is arrayed as Accused No.14, in P.R.C.No.17 of 2010, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Dindigul. He filed this petition under the provisions of Section 482 of Cr.P.C. in which he seeks the relief to call for the records pertaining to the above said PRC and to quash the same as illegal.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is not present. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) on instructions would submit that in the year 2016 itself, the said PRC was committed to the Court of Sessions and thereafter, the case has been assigned with S.C.No.32 of 2016. Further, he added that now, after completing the examination of 13 witnesses, the case is posted for examination of some other prosecution witnesses.

3. The submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) is recorded. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is dismissed.
