ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the official respondents to conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries in S.No.8/7 Mulagamood Village, Kalkulam Taluk, Kanniyakumari District, with Police protection, based on the petitioner's applications dated 18.09.2025 and 03.10.2025, within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the absolute owner and in possession of the land comprised in Survey No.8/7 situated at Mulagamood Village, Kalkulam Taluk, Kanniyakumari District. The petitioner had submitted applications dated 18.09.2025 and 03.10.2025 to the official respondents seeking survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the said property. However, no action has been taken on the said applications till date. It is further submitted that there is obstruction from private parties during the attempt to survey the land,

necessitating Police protection. Hence, the petitioner seeks a direction from this Court to the official respondents to conduct the survey and demarcate the boundaries with Police protection, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

4. Recording the aforesaid submission, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the applications of the petitioner dated 18.09.2025 and 03.10.2025, demarcate the petitioner's land after considering the claims of the petitioner as well as the fourth respondent, and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
