O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for police protection to the petitioner's life and limb based on the representation given by the petitioner on 14.12.2023.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.

3.The learned Government Advocate submitted that already an FIR registered in Crime No.382 of 2023. The investigation is pending till date.

4.The grievance of the petitioner is that in spite of the FIR registered based on the complaint given by the uncle of the petitioner, the accused persons are continuing to cause threat to the petitioner and the 2/5

family members. According to the petitioner, the accused persons are having criminal antecedents and hence, they are causing repeated threats to the petitioner.

5.In the considered view of this Court, the complaint given by the petitioner shall be enquired by the police. If it is found that any threat is exerted by the accused persons, action shall be initiated in accordance with law. In any case, the investigation in Crime No.382 of 2023 shall be concluded within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
