ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in P.R.C.No.16 of 2002 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram and quash the same. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that on 04.07.2014 itself the dispute between the petitioner and the second respondent was settled and a memo of compromise was filed before this Court to that effect. He produced a copy of the order dated 04.07.2014 in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.12635 of 2014.

3.On perusal of a copy of the order in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.12635 of 2014 passed by this Court shows that after filing the compromise memo by either parties, this Court quashed the proceedings in P.R.C.No.16 of 2002 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram and thereby allowed the above said Criminal Original Petition. This Criminal Original petition is also filed for the same relief to quash the proceedings in P.R.C.No.16 of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2002. Accordingly, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
