PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate action against the respondents No. 5 to 8 in the manner known to law in the light of the FIR in Crime NO. 537 of 2020 on the file of the 4th respondent within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate action against the respondents No.5 to 8 in the manner known to law in the light of the FIR in Crime No.537 of 2020 on the file of the 4th respondent within a time frame as fixed by this Court. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is one of the victim in the above said crime registered as FIR. On the basis of the complaint given by one Nagooran, a case in Crime No.537 of 2020 has been registered against the private respondents for 2/5
the offences punishable under Sections 420, 468 & 484 of IPC. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the case was registered in the year 2020, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, he seeks direction from this Court.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by one Nagooran against the private respondent FIR in Crime No.537 of 2020 was registered. Investigation is underway. The petitioner is one of the victim. They are going to include this petitioner as victim/witness. He would further submit that it appears that some other persons are also involved in the offences. They must be included in the crime number.
4.It is purely matter of investigation by the third respondent. Let the petitioner appear before the fourth respondent and share all the informations available with him. Thereafter investigation may be undertaken in that line it shall be completed within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
5.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition stands disposed of. No costs.
