O R D E R

By relying on sale deed dated 29.02.2024 (Document No.310 of of 2025), the petitioner had applied for survey of the land in Town Survey No.91. Because action was not taken on such application, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Learned Government Advocate submits that an inquiry notice was issued on 22.07.2025 and that such inquiry would be concluded within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. While the petitioner has produced a sale deed, the petitioner has been unable to produce patta either in his name or in the name of his vendor. It is stated that patta could not be obtained on account of the classification of the relevant property.

4. In these circumstances, the third respondent is directed to conduct an inquiry in relation to the petitioner's application for survey. 2/5

Notice shall be issued to the petitioner, the owners of relevant adjacent lands and to Kanniyammal. Upon conclusion of the inquiry, a speaking order shall be issued within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This writ petition is disposed of on these terms without any order as to costs.
