O R D E R

By relying on patta Nos.2710 and 2714 standing in the petitioner's name and jointly in the name of the petitioner and his father, the petitioner had applied online for the conduct of a survey. The present Writ Petition relates thereto.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner and his father have been in possession of the above-mentioned properties for a considerable period of time and that the above mentioned pattas were issued in recognition thereof. He also submits that there is no rival title claim.

3. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2 and learned Government Advocate 2/5

(Crl.Side) accepts notice on behalf of the third respondent. He submits that the petitioner's application would be acted upon within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. From the affidavit in support of the Writ Petition, it appears that there is enmity between the petitioner and the owners of adjacent lands. Therefore, it is necessary to issue notice to them and consider their objections before a decision is taken.

5. Subject to the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first and second respondents to initiate action on the petitioner's application for a survey and complete the entire exercise within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after issuing notice to owners of all relevant adjacent lands and considering objections, if any, from them.
