ORDER

The present writ petitioner has been filed by a TASMAC Supervisor challenging an order of transfer from a shop in Ambasamudram to Veeravanallur.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, though he had not made any request to get transferred, the impugned order reflects as if he had made a request for transfer.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents brought to the notice of the Court that the order under challenge is only a consequential order based upon the order issued by the Managing Director on 02.12.2023. A perusal of the order of the Managing Director clearly indicates that apart from the writ petitioner, 4 other supervisors in the said district have been transferred on administrative grounds. 2/4

4. Therefore, this Court is of the considered opinion that there are no grounds to interfere in the order of transfer. The writ petition is devoid of merits. Hence, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
