PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 4th respondent to transfer the patta to the name of the petitioner Jeyakalyani and her sister, Deivanayagi for the properties situated in Natham S.Nos.3372/1 to 3372/6, 3372/10, 3372/13 to 3372/22, 3372/24, 3384/1 to 3384/9, 3385/2, 3385/3, 3385/5A, 3385/5B, 3385/6 and 3385/7 to 3385/9 Vijayanarayanam Part -I, Village, Thisayanvilai Taluk, Tirunelveli District in the light of the petitioner's representation dated 07.07.2025 within a time frame as fixed by this court. 1/4

ORDER

By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction for the transfer of the patta in relation to several survey numbers in the name of the petitioner and her sister Deivanayagi.

2.Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents.

3.On perusal of paragraph No.6 of the affidavit, it appears that pattas have been issued in the names of several individuals. Therefore, the request of the petitioner cannot be entertained unless the petitioner challenges the orders granting pattas to the third parties. By leaving it open to the petitioner to file an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer challenging such pattas, this writ petition is disposed of without any order as to costs. 14.10.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet: Yes/No RJR 2/4
