After submitting an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer in respect of the issuance of patta to the private respondents herein, the petitioners seek early disposal thereof.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 3. He submits that the Revenue Divisional Officer will dispose of the appeal within twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. In view of the nature of relief claimed, it is unnecessary to issue notice to the private respondents herein. Instead, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioners on merits within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to all parties thereto. No costs. W.M.P.(MD) No. 22194 of 2025 is allowed.
