For Petitioner :Mr.M.Sathiamoorthy For Respondent :Mr.R.M.Anbunithi Additional Public Prosecutor O RDER This criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to 1st and 2nd respondents to direct the 3rd respondent to complete the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.233 of 2022 dated 02.06.2022 on the file of the 3rd respondent on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 30.11.2023 within the stipulated period which this Court may deem fit and proper. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the defacto complainant in this case. He lodged a complaint before the respondent police. Based on his complaint a case in Crime No.233 of 2022 has been been registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 341, 294(b), 506(i) of 2/5

IPC and Section 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the case was registered in the year 2021 under Special Act, so far no progress in this case.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that investigation in this case have been completed and final report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sivagiri on 28.08.2023.

4.The learned Judicial Magistrate, Sivagiri, shall process the above said final report within the time stipulated as per Rules. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the contents of the final report, he can workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings.

5.With the above said directions and liberty, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
