The petitioner's grievance is that the patta in relation to survey No. 100/10 stood in the name of his father, Perumal, and that patta was issued in the name of one Rangaswamy under patta No.435 without notice to the petitioner. After submitting a representation in this regard, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents. He has placed on record written instructions and a report submitted by the Tahsildar to the Revenue Divisional Officer on 28.06.2025. It appears there from that an inquiry is ongoing.

In these circumstances, without making any observations on the merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the Revenue Divisional Officer to conclude such inquiry and issue a speaking order within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the current pattadar, namely, Rangasamy. No costs.
