ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking direction to the respondents to sanction and disburse forthwith the terminal benefits due to the petitioner viz., the General Provident Fund, Gratuity, Pension and Leave encashment, admissible to the petitioner with interest @ 6 percent by considering petitioner's representation dated 19.05.2025.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents on instructions from the 2nd respondent would submit that the petitioner is entitled for pension for a sum of Rs.2000/- per month and as of today a sum of Rs.48,000/- stands as arrears amount. The arrears of special pension and the monthly pension 2/4
from November 2025 would be paid to the petitioner within the time frame fixed for the same.
3. Recording the said submissions, this writ petition is disposed of, there shall be a direction to the respondents to pay the arrears of pension within a period of eight weeks from today and pay monthly pension from November 2025 to the petitioner. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
