ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner seeks issuance of patta in respect of the petition mentioned lands.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader points out that the District Revenue Officer, Sivagangai had already issued the proceedings dated 26.09.2023 cancelling the pattas earlier granted on the ground that the survey reports form part of the water body. It is also stated that challenging the said proceedings, the writ petitions have been filed before this Court and that they are still pending in W.P.(MD)Nos.25309 of 2023 etc., batch. Therefore, the petitioner can renew his request after the disposal of the said writ petitions by the Hon'ble Division Bench.

4. With this liberty to the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
