ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Virudhunagar, to expedite the trial and dispose the case in C.C.No.310 of 2019 on its file within the time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the matter may be referred to the mediation centre, since the issue is between the husband and wife.

3. In view of the above submission and also considering the oldness of the matter, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Virudhunagar to refer the matter to the mediation centre for settlement. If there will be no settlement between the parties through the mediation process, then the trial Court shall complete the trial within a period of four months thereafter.

4. With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
