[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing 1 to 8 respondents to take necessary action against 9 to 12 respondents due to illegal bricks clamp running by 9 to 12 respondents in Survey Numbers 405/6A2A, 405/6A3A, 408, 437/1E in Avarankadu, Sokkalingapuram Post, Melur Taluk, Madurai District based on the letter communication dated 08.05.2023 and also representation dated 05.06.2023.

2. The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, and 3 to 7, on instructions, submitted that action has been taken by the respondents as against the respondents 9 to 12 for stopping the illegal bricks clamp running by respondents 9 to 12 in Survey Numbers 405/6A2A, 405/6A3A, 408, 437/1E in Avarankadu, Sokkalingapuram Post, Melur Taluk, Madurai District. Therefore, as of today, there is no bricks clamp, as alleged by the petitioner. He further submitted that electricity connection has also been disconnected by the respondent. The said submission is recorded.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Pleader, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. [D.K.K., J.] [R.V., J.] 05.01.2024 Index :
